These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases, commissions, and use of the TJH Art website. By placing an order, commissioning artwork, or using this website, you agree to the following terms.
About the Artist
TJH Art is operated as a sole trader based on the South Coast of England. All artworks are original, hand-painted pieces created by the artist.

Original Artwork Sales
Artwork
All artworks listed for sale are original, hand-painted oil paintings. Each piece is unique and sold as a physical artwork only.
Pricing and Payment
- Prices are listed in GBP.
- Orders are processed through the WooCommerce checkout system.
- Payment is accepted via Stripe or bank transfer.
- Full payment is required before artwork is dispatched or collected.
Delivery and Collection
- UK delivery only.
- Shipping costs are added at checkout unless otherwise stated.
- Collection may be arranged by prior agreement.
- WooCommerce collects the necessary information to process your order, including your name, email address, and delivery address. This information is used only to fulfill your order and communicate with you regarding its status.
Ownership
Ownership of the physical artwork transfers to the buyer once full payment has been received. Copyright remains with the artist unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.
Returns and Refunds
- Original artworks are non-returnable.
- Please review all images and descriptions carefully before purchasing.
- In the event of damage during transit, please contact TJH Art as soon as possible. Each case will be assessed individually.
Commissions
Commission Process
Commissions are custom, bespoke artworks created based on client requirements and reference material.
Payment
- A deposit is required before work begins.
- The deposit becomes non-refundable once painting has started.
- The remaining balance is due before delivery or collection.
Revisions
- Minor revisions may be possible at early stages of the process.
- Once the painting is completed, no revisions are guaranteed.
Cancellations
- Commissions cannot be cancelled once work has begun.
- If a commission is cancelled before work starts, any deposit paid may be refunded at the artist’s discretion.
Delivery and Risk
- All artworks are carefully packaged for delivery.
- Risk passes to the buyer once the artwork has been dispatched or collected.
- TJH Art is not responsible for delays caused by couriers.

Copyright
- The buyer owns the physical artwork only.
- TJH Art retains full copyright of all artworks.
- The artist reserves the right to photograph and display commissioned and sold works for portfolio, website, and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Disclaimers
- Colours may vary slightly due to screen settings and lighting.
- All dimensions are approximate.
- Timescales for commissions are estimates and not guaranteed.
Limitation of Liability
TJH Art will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the purchase or commission of artwork, except where required by law.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
